Mumbai, March 15, 2025 – In a major branding move, Pidilite Industries Ltd., the parent company of Fevicol, has acquired the naming rights to Marol Naka Metro Station in Mumbai. The station will now be known as “Fevicol Marol Naka”, reinforcing the brand’s deep-rooted connection with the city and its commuters.
The renaming is a tribute to Balvantray Kalyanji Parekh, the visionary founder of Pidilite, coinciding with his 101st birth anniversary. The move honors his legacy of fostering strong connections—an ethos that has defined Fevicol’s identity for decades.
Bharat Puri, Managing Director of Pidilite Industries, expressed pride in this initiative, noting that Marol is home to several Pidilite offices, with many employees using this metro station daily. He emphasized that the renaming not only enhances Fevicol’s brand visibility but also serves as a tribute to Parekh’s contributions.
The branding deal was executed in partnership with MOMS (Madison OOH Media Solutions) and Times Innovative Media Limited (TIML). Jayesh Yagnik, CEO of MOMS, highlighted that Marol Naka is a crucial interchange hub, making it an ideal location for Fevicol to connect with millions of commuters. Rohit Chopra, COO of Times OOH, added that the collaboration aligns with their commitment to enhancing brand engagement through high-visibility transit media solutions.
This partnership cements Fevicol’s lasting bond with Mumbai, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s legacy while strengthening its presence in the daily lives of the city’s commuters.-AirMedia Broadcast
