In a stern move to counter misinformation and protect job aspirants, India TV has announced that it will initiate legal proceedings against individuals or groups involved in circulating fake job advertisements using the company’s name and branding.

Over the past few days, several fraudulent job posts claiming to offer lucrative roles at India TV have gone viral across social media platforms, messaging apps, and unofficial websites. These misleading advertisements have caused confusion among job seekers, many of whom have reached out to the organization for verification.

In an official statement released today, India TV clarified that these posts are entirely fake and unauthorized. The network reaffirmed that it conducts all recruitment through official channels only, including its official website and verified social media handles.

“We strongly condemn the misuse of our brand identity and the deliberate attempt to mislead job seekers. India TV is committed to ethical hiring practices and will not tolerate any such fraudulent activities. Legal action is being taken against the perpetrators,” the statement said.

India TV also cautioned individuals against responding to suspicious messages, emails, or links that promise job opportunities in exchange for registration fees, personal information, or other sensitive data.

The network has encouraged the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious job-related communication to the authorities or to India TV directly. It further emphasized that at no stage does the company demand money or personal favors during the hiring process.

This incident has once again raised concerns about the growing trend of fake recruitment scams in the media and entertainment industry, where trusted brand names are misused to lure innocent individuals. India TV has urged job seekers, especially fresh graduates and young professionals, to stay informed and check the authenticity of any employment opportunity before proceeding.
