The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Majestic donated sewing machines to the Third-gender community in Coimbatore

The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Majestic donated sewing machines to the Third-gender community in Coimbatore on 21/11/2022.

To mark the International Transgender Day of Remembrance, the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Majestic – one of the finest and oldest Clubs in Coimbatore with 30 years of legacy donated two sewing machines to the Third-Gender people in Kottamedu, Coimbatore with the fund support by their Parent Rotary – Rotary Club of Coimbatore Midtown.

President for the Club Rtr. Sethupathi led the event along with the members Rtr. Swathi and Rtr. Prithivee.

Team Majestic has supported the society by conducting various events like food donation drives, sponsoring school bags to Child Care Institutions, recognising social workers etc.

Now the Team’s focus was to help the Third-gender community. The donation would empower them by helping them to earn a living.
