Kongu Engineering College Students Visit AirMedia Broadcast Solutions for Industrial Exposure

Coimbatore, August 8, 2026: A group of 104 third-year B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering students from Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, Erode, visited AirMedia Broadcast Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Ganapathy, Coimbatore, on August 8, 2026, as part of their academic field visit for the course 24ECT52 – Analog and Digital Communication.

The students from III Year A and D Sections were accompanied by faculty members Mr. G. Thirunavukkarasu and Ms. M. Ponkarthika.

Practical Exposure to Broadcast Engineering

During the industrial visit, the students received practical exposure to various aspects of FM broadcasting, radio studio operations, communication technologies, and broadcast engineering systems.

Key Areas Covered During the Visit

The students were introduced to and gained practical knowledge in:

FM Broadcasting & Radio Studio Operations Voice Recording, Audio Processing & Broadcasting Broadcast Server Room & Automation Systems FM Transmitter, RF Communication & Antenna Systems FM Tower, Signal Transmission & Safety Systems

The visit provided the students with an opportunity to understand how the concepts covered in their Analog and Digital Communication course are applied in real-world broadcasting and communication environments.
