25 August 2026: The talented players of Army Public School, Udhampur brought laurels to the school with their outstanding performance at the District-Level Spandan League Badminton Championship, organised by STC BSF, Udhampur.

Demonstrating exceptional sporting skills, discipline, determination, and an indomitable spirit, the school teams secured two Gold and two Silver Medals in the championship. The Under-16 Girls’ and Under-19 Girls’ teams of APS Udhampur displayed remarkable performances and clinched Gold Medals, securing the first position in their respective categories. The Under-16 Boys’ and Under-19 Boys’ teams also showcased commendable skill and competitive spirit, securing Silver Medals.

Adding to this remarkable achievement, the Girls’ teams were awarded a cash prize of ₹21,000, while the Boys’ teams received ₹18,000. This remarkable success further strengthens the school’s tradition of excellence in the field of sports. On this occasion, Dr. Jyoti Bedyal, Principal, Army Public School, Udhampur, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the winning players, coaches, and parents.
