TEACHER’S DAY EXTRAVAGANZA AT APS UDHAMPUR: A CELEBRATORY TRIBUTE TO EDUCATORS-

September 5, 2026: APS Udhampur hosted a vibrant Teacher’s Day celebration, a day that eloquently honoured the profound impact of educators on the lives of their students. The school auditorium was transformed into a vibrant showcase of talent and gratitude, reflecting the deep respect and admiration held for the teaching staff.

The day’s festivities started with Ganesh Vandana, followed by asolemn and symbolic Lamp lighting ceremony by the school’s principal Dr. Jyoti Bedyal and the senior teachers who are set to retire in the coming year, symbolizing the enlightenment that teachers bring into their students' lives.

The highlight of the celebration was a series of dazzling dance performances by the students. From classical Indian dance forms to contemporary routines, each performance was a testament to the students’ creativity and dedication.Adding to the day’s excitement were various interactive games designed to engage both students and teachers which fostered camaraderie and strengthened the bond between the faculty and their students. The celebration reached its zenith with a captivating performance by a Musical band by Class XII and the music teacher Mr. Arun Kumar. The band’s performance was a fitting tribute to the teachers, encapsulating the day’s theme of appreciation through the universal language of music.

The event concluded with an inspiring address by the Principal APS Udhampur, Dr. Jyoti Bedyal. In her address, she commended the dedication and hard work of the teaching staff. She highlighted the importance of Teacher’s Day as an opportunity to celebrate not only the academic contributions of educators but also their role as mentors and role models. The Principal’s heartfelt words resonated with all attendees, reinforcing the sense of unity and gratitude that marked the day.The Principal also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the school management for its continued efforts towards recognising and boosting the morale of the teaching community. She conveyed the warm wishes and congratulatory message extended to all teachers by the Chairman APS Udhampur and appreciated the management’s thoughtful gesture of presenting gifts to the teachers and organising a special lunch for them.
