08 September 2026 : The Boys Basketball Team of Army Public School Udhampur has brought laurels to the school by securing FIRST Position in the *Northern Command (Cluster A) Inter APS Basketball Tournament, held at Army Public School Dhar Road w.e.f. 07 to 08 Sep 2026.

The tournament witnessed participation from SIX Army Public Schools of Cluster A. Demonstrating exceptional teamwork, determination and sporting spirit, APS Udhampur boys emerged victorious in the final, defeating APS Srinagar by 25–19 to lift the championship title.

This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our young athletes and the continuous guidance and support of their coaches and teachers.

The school Principal, Dr Jyoti Bedyal, conveys her sincere appreciation and heartfelt congratulation to the basketball Boys' team on the commendable victory. This achievement is the reflection of dedication, discipline, perseverance, teamwork and commitment to excellence. She also places on record her appreciation for the players and coaches for their hard work and concreted efforts.
